3000 years of history await you at the Invalides

A 360° projection for a monumental show
Images of exceptional quality produced by 4K video latest generation projectors will be presented on 240 metres of the Invalides building frontage. These three ‘screens’ together offer around 5,000 m2 of projection surface beneath the starry night sky, allowing for amazing visual effects! Leading French actors such as André Dussolier and Jacques Roehrich contribute the narration, creating a perfectly synchronised whole.
A night walk in the Church of the Dome
The evening will continue in the Church of the Dome with a ‘night walk with a thousand candles’. The year 2019 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Napoleon. Here you can see his magnificent tomb and those of other famous French military figures.
The Army Museum
Created in 1905 in the grounds of the Invalides, the Musée de l'Armée houses some 500,000 artefacts throughout its more than 8,000 m2, making this the most important military history museum in France and one of the finest anywhere. Its many fascinating treasures include the third largest collection of armour and ancient weapons in the world and the majestic armour of the kings of France.
